Powermat Is Looking for a Presale Engineer to Join Our Sales Team!

The Presale Engineer’s responsibilities include supporting sales productivity and deal flow by securing the “technical close” in complex solutions.

The Presale Engineer will report to the Chief Revenue Officer.

Job Responsibilities

  • Present the company, the technology, and products in a fluent and coherent manner
  • Join sales meetings with Sales Reps and own all the technical aspects
  • Works deals assigned to the sales team supported, prioritizing effort based on maximizing total impact on team productivity and profit, or as directed by the sales manager.
  • Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers’ met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the firm.
  • Write responses to RFIs, RFQs, quotations as well as technology related documentation
  • Develop good relationships with our partners, customers, and prospects and gain their trust
  • Train our partners on Powermat’s technology
  • Coordinates closely with internal sales, sales support, and service resources to align solution design with customers’ business requirements
  • Ability to overcome competitive arguments and FUDs
  • Oversee PoC processes

Job Requirements

  • 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in the hardware tech space, selling in a B2B, large/strategic customer segment
  • Deep understanding of business-related processes and good selling skills
  • Experience in working in global companies – working with companies in the US, EU and Asian markets
  • Sensitivity and tolerance when dealing with customers
  • Knowledge of any of the following would be considered an advantage – Analog circuits, Board design, Power circuits, Power converters
  • Experience working in companies in the automotive, telecom or robotics industries – must
  • Sc. Electronics Eng. degree from an accredited institution – advantage
  • Independent, hardworking, fast learner
  • A capability to operate in an ever-changing dynamic working environment
  • Willingness to travel abroad frequently
  • Experience working with corporate companies.
  • Excellent communication skills in Hebrew and English – both written and verbal
