Why Do Drones Need Wireless Charging?

Commercial and security drones used by organizations today face a significant operational challenge as battery capacity can often limit drone flight durations. The most common charging method found in drones today is contact-based conductive charging technology, which requires extreme accuracy in alignment with the charging station and leaves electric cavities exposed, which prevents it from withstanding challenging weather conditions.

When it comes to charging, today’s UAVs and commercial drones still struggle with automatically positioning themselves precisely enough – which makes current charging systems for drones & UAVs costly and inefficient when operating on a large scale.

Ideal commercial drones and UAVs should be able to complete their task and automatically recharge quickly and efficiently.
