The Powermat PMT wireless power solution family supports different implementation types and enables the transmitter to receive wireless power from both standard and alternative sources, i.e., standard DC sources, batteries, or even direct connection to PV cells, implementing MPPT functionality. These wireless power solutions use induction coils to create an electromagnetic field that transfers energy from a transmitter. The receiver or unique dual-purpose transmitter unit then converts the energy into safe and efficient power across an array of applications for multitudes of devices.
